This examination is conducting every year for recruitment of new energetic applicants, and this is open competitive examination conducted by Staff Selection Commission for the post of General, Accounts, and Depot and Technical cadres (Category III) in FCI. 

Detail of Age: Applied applicants age must be Maximum of 27 years as on date August, 01st 2013.

Qualifications: For AG-III (General) post applicants done their Bachelor degree in any subject from recognized board along with computer knowledge is essential for applying these posts.

For AG-III (Accounts) posts applicants done their graduation in commerce subject from government recognized university or college.  


For AG-III (Technical) posts applicants done their Bachelor degree in Agriculture / Botany / Zoology/ Bio-Technology/ Bio -Chemistry / Microbiology / Food Science or Engineering in Food Science / Food Science and Technology/ Agricultural Engineering / Bio-Technology from recognized board / university along with computer.

For AG-III (Depot posts applicants done their Bachelor degree in any subject from government recognized university or college with computer knowledge is essential for applying these posts.

Paper Syllabus

For Paper I: General Intelligence(Similarities and Differences, Analysis, Visual memory, Semantic Analogy, Symbolic/Number Analogy, Figural Analogy, Figural Series, Space Visualization, Spatial Orientation, Problem Solving, Decision Making, Observation, Discrimination, Relationship Concepts, Arithmetical Reasoning, figure classification, Arithmetic number series, non verbal series, coding and decoding, statement and conclusions etc.)

General Awareness: In this section it consist knowledge of current affairs, History, Economics, Geography, Politics, Scientific Research and Culture etc.

Quantitative Aptitude: Number System, Decimals, Fractions, Ratio and Proportion, Percentage, Simple Interest and Compound Interest, Averages, Square roots, Profit and Loss, Discount, Speed Time and Distance, Time and Work, Algebra etc. 


English Language: Basic Comprehension, grammar, passage writing etc. 

For Paper II: Quantitative Methods (Number System, Ratio and Proportion, Square Roots, Interests, Relationships, Geometry, Time and Work, Percentage, Graphs of linear equations, Trigonometric Ratio, Degree and Radian Measure, Height and Decisions, Bar Chart, Histogram and Pie Chart etc)
English Language: (Blanks, Antonyms, Synonyms, Spelling Detection, Idioms and Phrases, Active and passive voice, Narration, Shuffling of Sentences, Comprehension Passage Questions and One word Substitution etc.)

For Paper III: this section cover degree level question related to the topic of Biochemistry, Microbiology, Botany, Zoology, Bio-technology and Agriculture Engineering.

CSAT Exam Details


How to Apply:
Application has made submission online by visiting official site. Registration for Part I is made online by filling all the blanks given, if there any modification/ correction then correct it before form submission. After that Part I registration, Registration No. will generate and applicants have to note down that detail. Now Part II includes payment, scanned signature and photograph.

Payment is done either net banking or by challan in SBI bank branches only, After Part II registration applicants get mail in their mail box which consist Registration No.
